Creative Production Manager
Overview
The Production & Project Assistant is a key support to the creative process of the Urban Outfitters art department. This role will be involved with project development from concept to execution, working with design, merchants, and vendors to successfully identify all needs for a wide range of projects. Creative Problem solving, and strong dialog will be imperative in finding solutions to progress each job. The assistant will help maintain brand standards, organization, cohesion and strong dialog as it pertains to the department.
Responsibilities
PRODUCTION
• Support team, and project production as needed
• Create templates, adapt creative, and build production mechanical files utilizing relevant software
• Review design files and proactively solve production issues
• Manage multiple deadlines while still providing excellent work
• Collaborate with, and support designers, art directors
• Create physical presentations as well as digital (Keynote, PowerPoint)
• Lead sourcing efforts from bid evaluations, price negotiation, and supplier selection to final production & execution.
• Along with the Creative Production Manager, partner with internal and external teams to improve timelines.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve file issues
• Work with other departments to gather, manage and maintain necessary assets
• Preflight, collect, upload, and download tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Attend project kick-off meetings and take thorough notes to produce meeting recap.
• Create clear timelines for all projects.
• Work with Creative Production Manager to keep designers on-task and aware of deadlines.
• Help in the maintenance of daily job priority lists.
• Work with internal and external teams to obtain needed creative assets for projects.
• Work with Operations to help in archiving and organizing files on the server.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field
