The Dockers Assistant Merchant is responsibility for supporting the global product line for America’s #1 khaki brand to be sold in the Americas, Europe and Asia with additional responsibilities to work closely with the USA team and buyers to bring the global vision to life in the US marketplace. We are rapidly expanding categories, and this role assists in the execution of consumer-focused Tops, Women’s and Collections product strategies and vision that builds brand equity and meets financial targets.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development of seasonal strategies and prioritization of tasks to support Global Brand strategies and meet financial targets
• Accurately maintain data in all systems and order logs, a foundational step in a merchandising career at LS&Co
• Create and maintain line plans in PLM
• Organize and maintain internal seasonal sample lines
• Support the Go-to-Market (GTM) deliverables within the GTM calendar. Assist in communicating deadlines and expectations to ensure partners meet deadlines
• Work with internal and external partners as a conduit of information, create and maintain selling tools and samples
• Assist with targeted consumer research to track and understand the marketplace and identify trends, product directions to contribute to line development
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
• 1-2 years minimum working in retail or wholesale company. Prior experience in merchandising or buying is preferred

• Excellent prioritization and problem solving abilities
