ABOUT THE JOB
Support SVP International/Retail/Education in leading brand initiatives that enhance consumer value through speed to market and excellent execution, across all geographies.
ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1 - Initiates and leads projects outlined in brand strategy
-Performs, in collaboration with Finance, the necessary analysis to define and tackle discriminant brand issues including but not limited to:
•Specialty Multi Channel work stream identifying Best Practice and Operating Guidelines
•SKU assortment optimization globally
•Creation of retail operational Best Practices Repository
•Contribute to travel retail strategy development
-Works directly with regions to identify issues and develop action plans
-Recommends priority actions to Department or Project Sponsor
-Partners with Brand PMO to set-up project management framework and track execution of deliverables
-Creates cascading vehicles for leading projects outputs (dossiers, presentations, conference calls, workshops, etc.)
-Directly cascades progress, risks and solutions to all stakeholders through Presenting, designing/delivering a workshop, Leading a call
2 – Promotes change and collaboration with the International and Retail Group
-Contributes to the department journey to achieve consumer centricity in all go-to-market activities and strategies, and operational excellence of activity delivery
-Proactively suggests actions to improve collaboration, and promote change in order to accelerate speed to market
-Engages the teams through team-milestones: retail forums, change milestones
-Fosters adoption of collaborative tools like Office 365
3 – Increases impact of department towards other functions and regions, Corporate and Brand
-Leads and drives Clinique Best Practice Sharing across regions and markets:
•Feed and organize the business partner Sharepoint / Teams Repository
•Disseminate newsletter with business partners per month
•Capture learnings from Retail Group projects
-Drives strategic clarity by updating the Department Work plan
•Liaise with every retail function head to update plan and track activities/results
•Flag hurdles and deadlocks to SVP Global Retail
•Propose solutions to accelerate and scale initiatives across market realities
-Helps elevate the standard of ‘internal marketing”:
•Creates outstanding visual supports to communicate the department’s mission/strategy/deliverables (PPT, videos, Keynotes, InDesign)
•Helps elevate Departments communication skills through coaching and training
Qualifications
-Bachelors in related field required, Masters/MBA a plus
-7-10 years’ work experience in related field, commercial a plus, beauty a plus
-Project Management experience a must
-Consulting/strategy experience preferred
-Killer presentation and storytelling skills (authority in PPT, Keynote, InDesign, and/or Prezi)
-Excellent verbal communication skills both presenting and facilitating workshops to reach a strategic conclusion or action
-Analytical thinker (excel ninja)
-Strategic thinker:
•Proactive sourcing of data, trends and consumer intelligence
•Ability to synthetize large data sets for effective and purpose-driven sharing
