Brand Supply Planning Manager - North America
Position Summary
Manage allocation of finished goods to Regional and Global Affiliates to achieve customer service and inventory targets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Monitor service level, out-of-stock, and low stock status, for the N.A. Affiliate and Export markets. Expedite supply and make allocation decisions as needed to support customer service targets (25%)
• Communicate supply status to N.A. Customer Service and Export Affiliates. Review and update Potential Lost Sales, Intranet Out of Stock, Manugistics, and SNP alerts (15%)
• Ensure the correct supply signal to the Plants, through accurate master file data, and close collaboration with Demand Planning. Prepare for and participate in weekly Supply / Demand Review meetings with Demand Planning (15%)
• Maintain timely and accurate Bills of Material (BOM) and master file data (20%)
• Collaborate with other regions for Import and Export finished good supply. Set priorities and execute recommendations for extra orders and method of shipment (10%)
• Disposition excess and obsolete finished goods in N.A. DC locations through reprogramming, redeployment, Corporate Sales, or destruction (5%)
• Monitor QA status, review expired finished goods, and facilitate rework for rejected finished goods in N.A. DC locations (3%)
• Maintain contingency demand in current system (2%)
• Coordinate financial liabilities for repackaging, reformulation, and discontinued SKUs in conjunction with Resource Planning, Material Planning, and GBSC (5%)
Qualifications
• University degree required
• Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Less than 5 years experience (minimum 2 yrs) may be accepted at Grade-25 if the candidate has prior Estee Lauder related experience
• Focus in Supply Chain or Business Administration is preferred but not essential if the candidate has at least 2-5 years of related work experience
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver), the integration of organization, system and process enterprise wide, and the importance of Master Data in the overall effectiveness and operation of the Supply Chain
• Experience using multiple complex database and/or ERP systems (such as: SAP, Manugistics, AS400) is also critical.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel is important
