Design Director, Tom Ford Beauty, Digital/TMall
POSITION SUMMARY:
Creative leader and designer who is an expert in developing 'on brand' luxurious creative and will strategize, develop and design
all creative requests needed for the Alibaba Group (TMall) program. And support creative asset development for Global
Tom Ford Beauty events. Position will be responsible for new asset development (including concept, production, and execution)
including campaign asset crops, various video formats, social media ideation while ensuring high-quality results.
This brand leader will also leverage existing Global campaigns/imagery/video/design and ensure digital experiences that feels
and partnership with project managers and agencies to ensure creative excellence in execution and align with the
Tom Ford aesthetic and visual identity.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Expert Designer with extensive Digital and Campaign Developement experience
•Works with Exec Director of Global Creative to support Asset Development for TMall and Global Digital Events, including primary and secondary assets (Campaign photography, Swatching, Product Photography, Video)
•Supports TMall needs with Global brand alignment and art direction oversight (including mood board development, creative oversight for photoshoots)
•Handles all Product Photography & Swatching Creative Review and Retouching
•Event Design Support (Video and Digital and Interactive creative design and production, including custom asset creation)
•Support all creative project and development of asset needs for all TMall creative requests for Digital including: campaign assets, image crops, banners, emails, social media, video, editorial/PR, copy, video/animation, photography development, and special campaign needs (holidays) from inception through to production.
•Leverage existing global assets, templates, design guidelines, global campaign imagery/video to support TMal
Digital programs and ensure precision and luxury in every touchpoint
•Act as a steadfast brand ambassador and design expert of Tom Ford Beauty and ensure all output is high quality; Ensure integration of design requirements into all phases of production.
•Responsible for the look-and-feel of all Tmall assets including site design, stories, videos, livestream events, banners, SPP and any related supporting creative assets.
•Drive image content and design on all China social platforms to ensure design consistency with global TFB design standards
•Provide leadership on managing local demands while determining brand appropriate creative
•Hands-on creative design leader; Ensure all digital creative results are on-brand and with a high level of excellence and luxury design aesthetic which reflects the Tom Ford brand.
•Guide and oversee the concept development, shooting, and production of photography assets (in conjunction with TFB Global Creative, TFB China Teams, and Tom Ford International) to ensure results are on-brand and on-brief.

Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Self-motivated senior-level art director/design director, who executes "on-brand" creative, with extreme attention to
design details, owns projects start to finish and excels at time management. Proven knowledge of the digital
environment. Stellar skills in design, typography, layout, digital formats (video, animation), mood-boards, concept development,
and on-set photoshoot art direction for campaign development and rollout. Solid understanding of digital, website design,
advertising and social media. Ability to work within an existing brand aesthetic and develop best-in-class digital
design and campaign content for digital interaction and e-commerce. Strong communication skills to liaise with teams in U.S.A.
and China.
