Job Summary:
The CDO Chief of Staff will work with the CEO, CDO, Senior Leadership Team and Digital Marketing leadership team to develop the overall comprehensive, integrated marketing strategy for TCP across all channels. This role will support key merchandising and business strategies, translate strategy into action and provide thought leadership for the CDO in the creation of strategies, Board of Director presentations and CEO communications. The Chief of Staff will report to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
• Provides thought leadership and translates the CDO’s vision to Merchandising, Planning, Marketing Analytics, Brand Marketing and Ecommerce as they build strategies that drive company growth.
• Leads the creation of cross channel marketing plans that deliver on TCP brand and sales goals and manages the communication of all projects with the CDO and other senior leaders.
• Leads the seasonal marketing strategy process for the business. Creates and tracks metrics that measure the success of the strategies implemented.
• Manages the creation and communication of the integrated marketing calendar of campaign launches that includes internal teams and external agencies.
• Keeps up with all industry trends and educates Digital Marketing leadership team
• Creates and drives new governance as needed
• Supports the CDO in effective decision making.
• Builds Board of Director, CEO and other presentations and communications for internal and external audiences
• Manages the work of the Director of Integrated Marketing Strategy and the Executive Assistant to ensure the CDO is organized and prepared
• Represents CDO in meetings and on projects
Education and Experience:
• 15 plus years of experience in an Ecommerce or retail environment
• 5 plus years of Chief of Staff or other leadership roles that lead marketing initiatives
• Proven track record of driving results that supports a brand strategy
• Broad marketing experience across a variety of areas including building, acquisition, engagement and retention of customers
• Experience building and presenting strategies to high level stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
• MBA preferred
