Description:The Jr. Ecommerce Operations Analyst will join a dynamic team that has ownership across multi-functional disciplines such as campaign management, development, release management, and SEO. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will work collaboratively across ecommerce teams and business partners in day to day website operational activities.
Responsibilities:
• Support the ecommerce operations team with day to day activities
• Work collaboratively across ecommerce teams to ensure the website runs smoothly and problem solve to resolve site issues
• Strategize with Ecommerce Operations Lead to develop processes and workflows for SEO, Code Releases, Front End Promotion efforts, and AB Tests
• Assist with ad hoc tasks related to SEO initiatives
• Provide administrative support for ecommerce team members in preparation for code releases
• Assist in Promo set ups in the CMS (Blue martini)
• Support ecommerce teams with front-end site fixes
• Work with Content, Creative, and Development teams to devise best way to implement urgent site fixes
• Create reusable actions and/or utilize monetate support to assist the Content team for actions needed for daily activities in the most efficient manner
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to all JIRA tickets in a timely mannerReport on and maintain all monetate campaigns
• Constantly review and refine current process and procedures and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Review all active Monetate campaigns weekly in order to ensure website performance is optimized
• Organize and categorize all campaigns and actions by standardizing campaign names, tagging campaigns, and implementing these with all teams that utilize Monetate
• Use JIRA and Confluence to create Monetate instructions and documentation
• Execute website AB tests across all of J.Crew’s three brands including J.Crew, J.Crew Factory and Madewell
• Assist with creation, delivery, and execution of AB tests campaigns using Monetate using basic front-end languages (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Work with product and development teams to strategize campaign set up
• Proof campaigns and work with QA teams to perform quality assessment to ensure expected changes are made with no bugs
• Activate tests and ensure that they are completed by deadlines
• Handle any call outs or modifications to tests
• Coordinate scaled tests in code base with Project Managers
Qualifications:
• BA/BS
• Strong MS Office application skills including high proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with online industry & retail experience a plus; passion for web & eCommerce
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent organization skills
• Experience with basic front-end coding languages HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated, possesses high degree of initiative and independence
• Clear & concise communicator; ability to work with all levels of management
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing business needs with a solid commitment to testing excellence.
• Experience using Monetate and JIRA a plus
