BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT
Understand various business priorities and strategies and unite into one consistent and inspiring store brand experience. Ensure merchant and brand strategies are accurately communicated and executed through each stage of planning and creative development. Skillfully develop graphic programs and communication initiatives to ensure successful implementation in the stores.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Program management:
• Regularly partner with Merchants, Merchandise Presentation, Merchant Marketing and national vendors to recommend and develop in-store marketing programs that support business priorities.
• Research and build accurate semiannual budgets to support new initiatives and maintained graphic programs.
• Examine and understand competitors&' in-store marketing strategies.
Project initiation and planning:
• Work with Manager to develop creative briefs and in-store marketing programs to support divisional businesses.
• Initiate new projects by writing accurate and comprehensive project details, including communication objectives, messaging hierarchy, desired outputs, and production specifications. Maintain detailed information as change requires throughout creative development.
• Monitor distribution lists and unique store environment needs to ensure accurate presentations in all store prototypes.
• Ensure vendor co-op is agreed upon at project start and collected at the project&'s completion.
Ensure delivery of strategic intent:
• Provide in-store marketing vision and direction to cross-functional partners.
• Review graphics at each creative development milestone to ensure output is on message.
• Communicate with Project Management to resolve all issues.
• Proof store communication documents to ensure project information and implementation accuracy. Address store issues/concerns as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritize multiple projects at varying stages of development
Preferred:
• 3+ years of marketing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate creative ideas
• Bachelor&'s degree
Special Requirements:
• Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 15-20 lbs. for occasional store set-ups
