Executive Director, Manufacturing (Keystone)
Position Summary
Performs as overall site leader for Manufacturing Operations on assigned campus(es). Sets the strategic plan for the entire site for multiple products, lines, and shifts, while managing the tactics and details to lead the team to success. Leads the group in meeting and exceeding goals and objectives that cover People Development, Safety, Quality, Service, New Product Launches, Cost and Productivity. Develops manufacturing operating systems and processes that will drive continuous improvement, people engagement and sustained result in all key factor areas. Delivers operational improvements through the strategic deployment of continuous improvement tools and techniques that includes Lean, 6 Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Develops strategy and manages through tactics that will deliver sustained results in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost and Productivity. Works closely with Human Resources and manages the team in a way that drives development, engagement and positive employee morale.
• Effectively manages and deploys ELC Lean and Continuous Process initiatives in a way that creates sustained cultural and behavioral changes across the business, including support functions, through coaching, mentoring and influencing employees and business team leaders.
• Builds and leverages collaboration and relationships with key cross functional leaders in Quality, HR, R&D, Supply Planning, Materials Management, GBSC, GSR, Brand Leaders, and other critical stakeholders that will further and drive business results.
• Operates the facility in a manner that ensures adherence with all regulatory standards in Environmental Health and Safety, federally regulated bodies in Quality, and all local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 yrs. of work experience within Manufacturing-Supply Chain, including experience in Plant Operations line management and leadership.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
• Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred
• Ability to work in a manufacturing operations / supply chain environment
• Proven history of utilizing continuous improvement philosophy, tools and techniques to drive significant, quantifiable improvements within Manufacturing-Supply Chain Operations.
• Proven track record of driving collaboration and building effective relationships.
• Demonstrates appropriate level of "business acumen" that will enable the individual to create, manage, and leverage relationships with corporate and functions external to the site such as R&D, Quality Assurance, GBSC, GSR and key leaders within our Brands.
• Possesses financial, customer service, and logistics capability so that the site is run efficiently and delivers business objectives.
