Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to develop a demand plan and provide leadership and direction to inform wholesale buys for the Dockers brand. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the Regional Wholesale teams (Merch, Sales, & Account/Inventory Planning) to drive the wholesale strategy and vision. This position is responsible for working with account teams and inventory management to help translate strategic direction & line productivity expectations to internal teams.

• OFR (Order Fulfill Rate)
• Business Performance
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Wholesale Merchants to develop regional category productivity targets (assortment architecture)
• Collaborate with Wholesale Merchants to generate top-down targets
• Develop tops down inventory PC9 plan for Dockers Wholesale
• Manage reconciliation between bottom-up plans, Demand forecast, and targets
• Work with inventory management to reconcile demand and supply forecasts
• Partner with Merchant counterparts to facilitate regional market intelligence sharing and provide directional guidance that will achieve financial success
• Partner with Regional Merchants to manage product lifecycle
• Conduct quantitative analysis and insights to optimize line profitability, monetize new opportunities and identify risks
• Providing input to the development of wholesale planning reporting and analytics activities to ensure account productivity and inventory investment
• Provide recommendation on stock management and movements to maximize sales, margins and minimize excess stock
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (8+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree).
Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a planning function, preferably in apparel or CPG
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
• Demonstrated forecasting/planning expertise and experience in the wholesale apparel industry preferred
• Proven experience understanding retail planning and executing exceptional quantitative skills
Decision Making and Problem solving:
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and focused on meeting deadlines
• Effective multi-tasker, with strong ability to interact with multi-functional stakeholders
• Demonstrated innovative problem solving and partnering skills
• Skilled team member who possesses exceptional analytical, communication and influencing skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across the organization
