JOB PURPOSE
This position reports to the FP&A Manager – Corporate of the Americas. Key focus will be to support the Manager for P&L responsibility over Capital and Corporate OpEx; IT, Marketing, Supply Chain, Architecture, and other Americas departments with ownership of Brazil & Mexico Home Office Opex.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting & Forecasting/Accounting: (40%)
• Provide monthly “bottoms up” forecasts for Departmental Operating Expenses for Brazil & Mexico
• Support FP&A Manager to interface with key departments for review of monthly actuals and future forecasts; identify risks/opportunities
• Manage and monitor Capital spend by project
• Prepare month end analysis and journal entries for opex and capital & partner with accounting for finalization
• Monthly Cash flow reporting for Corporate Operating Expenses and Capex to cash team
• Enter and validate data into the BOSS financial system for month end actual, forecast and budget submissions.
• Request Internal Order creation for capex tracking purposes
• Ad hoc finance analysis/projects.
Reporting: (60%)
• Provide Month End Financial packages to all Corporate department heads with variance analysis against Budget, Forecast and LY levels.
• Fixed Asset Project reporting (IO Report) to construction team at different stages of project (beginning, mid-point & completion of project and upon request).
• Optimize current reporting
• Ad hoc finance reporting
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Experience in a Business Analyst or comparable capacity
• 2-3 years accounting experience preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Business Management
• Corporate experience is required; Retail experience a plus
• Strong MS application skills, especially Excel; and SAP for applications
