OVERVIEW
MADEWELLis seeking a Customer Acquisition Analyst to join the Madewell team during an exciting period of digital growth. As a Customer Acquisition Analyst, you’ll report to the Digital Marketing Director. You will support Madewell’s customer acquisition efforts by forecasting growth opportunities, managing performance of initiatives and delivering on goals, objectives and KPIs. You will play a key role in determining what acquisition sources are driving the greatest impact for Madewell.
RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Identify, model, and evaluate opportunities to drive growth in customer acquisition
• Work closely with Digital Marketing Director to analyze and monitor budgets across all media channels, optimize costs and evaluate campaign performance
• Help monitor and evaluate KPI's and qualitative data, connecting the dots across all paid marketing channels
• Manage weekly performance dashboard, communicate insights and present actionable recommendation to key stakeholders
• Explore new forms of acquisition channels to position Madewell at the forefront of new opportunities
• Partner with advertising agency to define marketing strategies, oversee implementation and monitor performance
• Partner with Brand Marketing, Merchandising and Analytics teams to align objectives around key acquisition periods
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer leadership questions and support internal projects
• Follow trends across e-commerce, retail and marketing to determine what acquisition sources will have the highest impact for Madewell
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Loves digging into data, has superior analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable leveraging large amounts of data to drive decisions
• Advanced knowledge of online analytics - Omniture preferred but not mandatory
• Passion for continuous testing and optimization
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and move seamlessly between different topics
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fast-changing environment
• Strong communication skills in person, on phone, and via email with people with varying technical understanding
• Highly professional and customer‐service oriented
• Good attitude for problem solving and willingness to find answers when there is no clear guidance
• Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel is essential)
• Google Analytics experience a strong plus
