About the Job
Develop and execute innovative integrated communications strategies and programs to support global, regional and local initiatives for AERIN Beauty and Estee Lauder fragrance, face and makeup. Leverage a deep understanding of the global media eco-system including digital, influencers and traditional media, to create compelling storytelling, guide markets and ensure a consistent global brand image is delivered.
About Your Responsibilities
Global Communications strategies that align with brand priorities, elevate brand image and create conversation:
•Develop global digitally - integrated strategies and executions against product launch programs and other brand initiatives to support Estée Lauder’s and AERIN Beauty’s business needs, image goals and storytelling opportunities
•Partner with Manager, Influencer Partnerships, to ensure seamless integration of influencer direction and guidance across programs to develop rich brand content and “win” in social media
•Partner with Product marketing, Consumer Engagement, Education, Product Development, Finance, regional teams and market Communications leads to ensure consistent and compelling communications messages and strategies are created and brand assets are integrated
•Cascade Communications strategies to all brand functions, regions and markets ensuring “buy-in” and alignment from key stakeholders
•Direct the creation of AERIN Beauty media assets as well as Estee Lauder fragrance, face and makeup assets
•Ensure local support of Estée Lauder’s editorial platform, Estée Stories, sharing assets and creative ways to garner continued support and promotion of the site
•Liaise directly with International PR Managers to ensure “best-in-class” executions at a local level, consistent with the global brand image
•Execute regular meetings with priority market Communications leads to brainstorm ideas and strategies against key brand programs
Talent Management:
•Work with VP to develop talent and capabilities around the world and help the local Communications teams reach their highest level of contribution
•On-Board new International talent to ensure an understanding of the brand story, philosophy, aesthetic and communications requirements
•Oversee and develop talent of the Coordinator, Global Communications
•Partner with VP on model announcement strategies and cadencing
•Craft spokesperson talking points for interviews and presentations
•Lead organization & development of International media tours with global makeup artists, spokesmodels and spokespeople, including some travel to markets with relevant spokespeople
Event Planning and Management:
•Lead and implement global events for major brand image moments
•Oversee the coordinator for all logistics
•Liaise with external production agencies to ensure brand image and messaging is followed
•Partner with VP to manage all talent including executives, spokesmodels and brand spokespeople
•Manage all project budgets
•Create and share post event recap including key ROI metrics, newsflash for brand and internal Intranet posts
•Work closely with local markets on local event executions to ensure consistent brand image
Develop Collaborative Relationships:
•Partner with Global Communications team in responding to daily requests from all markets, including queries on communications programs, information requests and spokespeople interviews
•Liaise with PR Managers from all international markets and respond to daily requests/questions from global markets, including queries on PR programs, information requests and spokesperson interviews
•Develop strong partnerships with key contacts across all functions to ensure Global Communications is consistently recognized as a key player in strategic decision-making for the brand

Experiences You Have
•8+ years related work experience in agency or in-house with proven blended PR, influencer and social media skills
•College Degree Required
•Prestige/ luxury brand experience
•360 communication programming development and activation
•Global experience and understanding of cultural nuances
•Working with models, celebrities, high profile executives
•Development and execution of large-scale events
•Understanding of global social media and beauty and lifestyle influencer landscape
