Description
This position involves supporting VP with global PR planning, and working with Consumer Engagement to align our digital strategy.
•Work with VP to manage the global planning grid for new and existing launches, including new asset creation, press releases and markets samples to provide the markets with tools to effectively communicate the TOM FORD brand image and support innovation.
•Work with VP and Consumer Engagement ED on a global digital influencer strategy and relations to help drive consistant communications efforts globally.
•Liaise with international markets to obtain detailed planning calendars for local execution of PR programs. Work with VP to report monthly market activities to Regional teams in APAC and EMEA.
•Accumulate global press clips and work with PR Assistant to produce monthly reports.
•Liaise with PR Managers from all international markets and respond to daily requests/questions from global markets, including queries on PR programs, information requests and spokesperson interviews.
•Execute 1 meeting with every PR Manager by phone each month and report to VP (weekly) and Regional team (monthly) in status.
•Work with Director of Global Events to organize Global Events, Regional Events, PR Manager Meetings, Brand Conferences.
•Present programs at internal meetings that align the team with the brand vision.
•Gain support from Global executive team, the Regionals as well as Brand Managers on PR priorities, budgets and programs.
•Assisting with organization and planning of international editor and Influencer visits to New York.
•Work with VP to develop talent and capabilities around the world and help the local PR teams reach their highest level of contribution.
•Help manage internal and external spokespeople as well as media training for key executives around the world.
•Work with VP to ensure metrics are put into place for all key initiatives and programs.
Qualifications
•8+ years public relations/communications experience in agency or in-house.
•Understanding of digital communications and social media imperative.
•Excellent written and communications skills are paramount.
•Solid organizational skills, visual skills, ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail.
•Must have the ability to appreciate other cultures, and an understanding of the cosmetic industry, fashion trends and pop culture.
•An understanding of fashion and beauty trends and new technology a plus, as is international experience and foreign language capability.
