Banana Republic is looking for a strong, inspiring leader that can enable creativity and innovation within our in-house marketing team that plans, designs and executes all consumer facing brand communications across all channels.
This position, reporting directly to the CMO, will manage all operational functions within the Marketing Department (project management, sample management, asset management) and lead the full marketing workstream across our go-to-market pipeline. In addition, this leader will facilitate the pre-season strategy and creative development process to ensure integrated programs are designed and flawlessly executed.The role requires a proven track record of working effectively within a dynamic Marketing organization and with cross functional teams (design, merchandising and inventory management) with an in-depth understanding of the creative and production process.
This position requires a high energy leader that can build tools, processes, and communication vehicles that facilitates the work flow through the marketing team seamlessly--enabling teams to do their best work and create capacity for new, disruptive ideas. This leader is balanced, demonstrating strong organizational and disciplined approaches to process and deadlines with an ability to flex to the changing needs of a business. This person is capable of building a team with world class talent and leading them to exceed goals and take the initiative to anticipate and solve problems before they ever occur. This leader will guide a team that has a reputation of being resourceful, agile, proactive, highly competent and operationally excellent.
Key Responsibilities:
·Understand the Brand Product & Marketing Pipeline thoroughly. Drive for necessary adjustments with the goal of simplifying process, optimizing integration and creating smooth work paths for cross-functional teams.
·Forecast potential overlaps or conflicts and work through those issues to ensure seasonal milestones are successful and timely.
·Support the marketing strategy work flow to ensure plans are developed and delivered on time but also creates capacity for disruptive, cross functional ideation.
·Partner with Brand Creative Director to support the creative process from concept to completion seamlessly.
·Proactively allocate resources and traffic work through the creative team to ensure all creative is meeting deadlines and the team is able to manage the workload. Partner with web producers.
·Integrate store experience team within the overall strategy and creative workflow for a seamless consumer experience optimized by channel.
Qualifications:
• +15 years of experience in Creative Services or Creative Operations. Agency, Retail, or Tech experience is preferred.
• BA is preferred
• Proven track record of setting up and implementing highly efficient job trafficking systems and infrastructure
• Broad experience working in a fast paced, ever evolving Marketing/ Creative environment
