Organizational Structure:
The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Sr. Director, Marketing.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with Director of Marketing and VP, Brand Director on global strategies, and measure marketing results across all channels (retail, ecommerce, wholesale, international).
• Manage short and long-term marketing projects from concept through launch.
• Identify the vision and scope of each project and take responsibility to ensure that all aspects of a project are completed according to plan, timeline and budget. Provide clear and actionable information related to projects.
• Plan and purchase digital, outdoor and traditional advertising, working directly with external media partners to build custom content and experiential programs
• Work with internal and external creative agencies on content strategies, oversee creative requests globally and track them through completion. Approve and traffic assets to a variety of teams across all channels. Maintain consistency and ensure overall marketing objectives are met.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and maintain appropriate budget tracking tools.
• Support regional marketing efforts for retail and wholesale channels to drive measurable traffic, sales and customer acquisition
• Manage the workflow and communication between all parties involved in the various stages of the planning, development and execution of the project which could include conducting meetings, regular follow up and providing creative solutions as needed. Develop quality assurance process and communication.
• Assist in development and partner with teams on the execution of strategic marketing plans, including promotions, events, CRM collection launches, email marketing campaigns, social media, collateral, displays, PR, etc. Ensure on-time completion.
• Identify key metrics and analysis needs. Collect metrics from various teams in order to compile extensive recaps to be shared company wide.
• Develop knowledge of each internal area of expertise as well as Vince's strategic objectives. Manage assigned projects while proactively identifying new and innovative solutions and opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams as well as external partners.
• Team is supported by the Senior Marketing Coordinator.
Qualifications
• 4 year degree
• Must have 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the contemporary or luxury apparel space
• Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills including the ability to multi-task and apply resources effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively on the phone, via email and in meetings.
• Ability to identify trends; have finger on the pulse of fashion and culture that’s relevant to Vince.
• Creative and innovative decision maker. Able to problem-solve and create and short and long-term solutions.
• Exceptional project management, process management and organization skills. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally), including success managing teams, both directly and virtually.
• Accountability and Initiative: Ability to deliver work on time and as promised. Strong ambition and work ethic.
• Builds Relationships/Influences: Ability to persuade and negotiate among multiple divisions. Experience in successfully collaborating with many different personality types.
• Vision & Strategic Thinking: Identifies opportunities to get and keep the organization at the competitive forefront and develops long term business strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
Compensation
