Urban Decay is seeking a Web Designer to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Web Designer will directly work under the VP of Creative Design, as well as work in tandem with a team of Designers and the Social Media department to assist in web graphic design. The Web Designer will create miscellaneous collateral, partner retailer assets, international site assets, email design, social media posts, ads and additional supporting website assets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and QA of assets to support regular Urbandecay.com updates (homepage assets, site banners, emails, display banners, landing pages, etc.) partner sites, and international sites.
Create additional site assets to support site optimization
Maintain content assets on Urban decay.com (Press, Steal Our Looks, Videos, etc)
Resize product images to support seasonal launches
Organize and archive library of web assets
Research competitors’ web presence and marketing campaigns
These job responsibilities are subject to change in accordance with business necessity

• Excellent production skills: preparing files for print, ensuring work is free of errors.
Detail-oriented-work should be free of errors
Must be current on all online best practices and design trends.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OR REQUIREMENTS
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education/ Experience/ Licenses or Certifications:
• Degree in Graphic/Web Design and/or equivalent experience will be considered
4+ years previous experience in a similar position
SOFTWARE
• Fully competent CS6 (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Basic Mac system/software
Basic MS Office Software
Internet savvy
