Primary Purpose of the Position:
Reporting to the Group Vice President, Corporate Responsibility, the Director, CR Strategic Initiativesis responsible for supporting the GVP in driving and executing on strategic initiatives that impact the global CR team, including but not limited to, team governance, global consistency, project management for global projects that roll-up to the GVP, management of the CR escalation log and oversight of issues management, and global data roll-ups. As part of the CR leadership team, this role helps develop and drive key CR strategies and initiatives across PVH and helps ensure the CR team is building future capabilities to become & remain a best-in-class organization focused on flawless execution & forward thinking.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Responsible for scoping, planning, managing and executing key CR initiatives globally.
• Facilitate and help manage deliverables from scoping brainstorm sessions to define project objectives, scope, and work streams.
• Build and manage internal project teams facilitating meetings and ensuring quality control throughout the initiative life cycle.
• Create and maintain the CR project management methodologies structure, plans, and templates along with global CR leadership.
• Project manage internal CR initiatives focused on building future capabilities.
• Define standardized PVH CR operating models by creating new playbooks, processes, tools and templates in collaboration with CR team members as well as cross-functional business partners.
• Implement standardized PVH CR operating models by defining communication and education plans in accordance with roll-out.
• Project manage new initiatives along with Initiative Owner
◦ Create project governance structure.
◦ Create and maintain project charter including scope, benefits, budget, timeline and stakeholders.
◦ Build and manage work breakdown structure along with work stream leads.
◦ Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
◦ Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
◦ Report initiative status to senior leaders.
Governance
• Proactively identify opportunities for new ways of working both within the CR team and throughout the organization.
• Serve as a connector within the CR team, and amongst business and functions to document and share best practices.
• Conduct and maintain an internal stakeholder mapping, focused on key contacts for various CR projects, as well as oversee communications cadence with such stakeholders.
• Together with the Transparency team, develop an external engagement strategy, as well as the tools to support such a strategy.
• Leverage the CR Governance Calendar to make strategic recommendations regarding engagement and positioning.
• Serve as trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership.
• Develop, manage and communicate agendas and materials for CR leadership meetings.
• Support GVP with global CR budget and organizational matters.
Issues Management
• Own and maintain the PVH CR Stakeholder Issues, Inquiry and Escalation Logs; regularly reporting out to senior management.
• Manage inquiries as appropriate and escalate where required. Work alongside the corporate and regional teams to manage and close out issues on a timely basis.
• Spot trends and proactively anticipate how best to respond.
Qualifications:
Experience
• 7+ years’ work experience in the retail or consumer goods industries
• Corporate responsibility and/or supply chain strategy background a plus
• 3 years’ minimum work experience in a project management or consulting role required
• Demonstrated leadership managing and influencing people of all levels
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; global experience a plus
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree a plus
• PMI Certification a plus
