Are you a current undergraduate student or have you recently graduated in the past 6 months? Are you available to join our team from June 19th to August 17th, 2018? During this full-time internship, we expect interns to work an average of 40 hrs/week at our Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA and be available for the entirety of the 9-week program.
About the role:
The Video Editing Intern will partner closely with the Media Content Manager to craft and edit video content to bring the TOMS story to life. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in concepting sessions, video shoots (pre-to-post production), editing, and formatting videos for use on various social media platforms.
Over the course of the 9-week program, the intern can expect to learn how a brand creates targeted video content to tell their story across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube). In this role, the individual will work cross-functionally with our Social Media, Brand Marketing, Creative, Traffic, and eCommerce teams.
The ideal candidate will be a individual who can think creatively, possesses a strong interest in brand marketing and has a desire to learn how brands utilize video content to tell their stories.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Participate in concepting and pre-production phases of brand story creation.
• Assist on video shoots with set production, camera recording, audio setup, etc.
• Edit video content utilizing Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and/or After Effects.
• Export and deliver files tailored to specific platform needs (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube)

Skills you’ll need:
• Experience filming with DSLR cameras and editing in Adobe Premiere is Required – show us your portfolio – we want to see your skills!
• Experience utilizing Photoshop to edit imagery and color correction a strong plus
• Experience with After Effects is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Well-versed in social media and engage with emerging platforms
• Ability to multi-task; you’ll be working on multiple projects at once
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25lbs of product or office supplies – we all pitch in where we can
