The Store Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of the business initiatives by supporting strategies, project plans and identifying communication milestones.
• Support comprehensive communication and planning strategies in support of the business
• Partner with cross-functional partners at all levels of leadership to align on communication strategies by determining the best timing and method of communication to drive or support the business
• Identify competing priorities and prioritize work on a regular basis across projects to escalate/ influence appropriate partners and leaders and provide solutions
• Provide recommendations to business partners on communications processes and vehicles available to drive execution of operations in store
• Follow up with the appropriate partners in order to ensure tasks are complete correctly and in a timely fashion
• Support the production of communications by reviewing content and using communication expertise to fact-check, edit (as appropriate) and enter information into Task Management to deliver clear, concise and consistent content in the appropriate tone and format
• Develop, plan and grow current communication platforms through store insights to support the evolving needs of the business
• Assist in the design and creation of product knowledge and learning modules for the field team
• Support managing and organization of content in team inbox
• Continued learning and understanding of Adobe Creative Suites, writing skills, business expertise and stores knowledge
Required Skills:
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, good time management and organization skills
• Flexible approach to shifting priorities of multiple projects along with the ability to work independently
• Ability to quickly build strong business relationships in a highly collaborative, fast-paced culture through inclusion, professionalism and influence
• Ability to meet the flexible needs of the business schedule, including some evening and weekend on call rotations
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or 2- 3 years of communication or store experience preferred
• InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office
• Digital/Portal communications experience a plus
