MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are actively looking for our future Shopper Based Design (SBD) Specialist. You will support the implementation of the merchandising action plan among our top customers in partnership with our internal teams to drive the Professional Hair and Nail businesses. In this role, you will be in-touch with top customer requirements and are key to enabling execution excellence by the brand and customer teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a best in class customer shelf execution strategy across all brands and initiatives.
• Support the creation, implementation and maintenance of permanent merchandising fixtures, vehicles, storage, collaborating with project owner, SBD strategy leader and external partners.
• Enable brands and sales teams with planograms and efficient assortment recommendations, working with global teams as overall strategy providers.
• Drive efficient opportunities for replenishment, replacement parts, working with internal customer teams and external vendors.
• Own budget management for SBD.
• Understand overall guidance and lead projects independently to deliver best-in class SBD execution.
• Engage the internal teams and vendors to ensure merchandising plan implementation in North America across categories and brands.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Adaptable in a fast paced customer focused delivery environment.
• Ability to analyze and integrate intangible knowledge from a variety of non-data based sources, including customer input & shopper understanding, to assess opportunities and to influence brand plans and customer choices.
• Stay in touch with the industry trends in all beauty culture, fashion, celebrity, and pop culture while also being able to translate their inspiration into action.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline).
• Experience of 3+ years in marketing or sales in the retail industry.
• Experience with such applications as Space Planning, Spaceman, or aptitude to learn.
• Ability to work well under pressure and flexibility to juggle many priorities across top customers and all brands.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and disciplined.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Beauty industry and merchandising experience.
