The ModCloth Brand Creative Directorwill lead an in-house creative team of graphic designers, copywriters and photo/video producers to translate creative briefs and story themes into a compelling brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. The Brand Creative Directorworks cross functionally to activate brand messages utilizing their creative, leadership, collaboration and communication skills.

We need your help to bring our core DNA to life and help us stand out as the brand we were been meant to be.
Responsibilities:
• Build, inspire and lead a talented in house creative team of 8-15 designers, writers and photographers/photo producers to push their limits and explore new paths that create an emotional connection with the ModCloth brand and inspire demand for our products.
• Guide the creative development and execution for brand identity, voice and messaging across all aspects of the brand experience including all channels and media vehicles (from advertising and digital/social to packaging, Ecommerce and retail). Bring this to life in rigorous monthly campaigns.
• Create brief-driven and brief-adhering concepts and conceptual presentations monthly – tell stories in fashion photography and copy – inspire marketing in the creation of work and assets.
• Drive the photo strategy and oversee production to create a seamless and cohesive look both onsite and in offsite advertising.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including Brand & Creative Strategy, Fashion Direction & Concepts, Demand Generation and Retail Stores to set the strategy of how design brings the brand to life and use this strategy to guide the priorities and output of your team.
• Help shape operational efficiency and a more seamless GTM strategy in a highly cadenced business (launching new campaigns monthly).
Requirements:
• 10-12+ years of brand creative experience developing and executing integrated and innovative marketing campaigns.
• 7+ years of experience leading creative teams to drive breakthrough results.
• Art direction or relevant photo/advertising composition background with expertise in concepting and directing shoots for multiple platform applications.
• Strong and impeccable aesthetic consistent with ModCloth that leverages our vintage inspired heritage in relevant and distinctive expressions.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in women’s apparel with working knowledge of retail and E-commerce best practices so you innovate beyond them.
• Creative portfolio of results oriented work that shows a diversity of experience across both online and offline media and retail channels.
• Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives while meeting an expected brand standard and high bar for aesthetic.
