Overview
This integrated marketing communications coordinator will help drive the marketing agenda for Eastbay. This individual will be responsible for the communication of the brand strategies and initiatives to the team and aid in the coordination of the Brand Activation Strategy. Additionally, this role will help support the marketing team with ad hoc analytical needs, budget management, supporting execution of big bet initiatives and partnering with the category and brand managers. This role will support the Eastbay marketing team and report directly to the VP of Marketing in at Eastbay.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Coordinator include:
• Developing and coordinating the following communications for the Eastbay marketing team: Brand and Vendor Presentations and Documents; Category and Brand Playbooks; Weekly Sales Promo Calls; Weekly Marketing Updates; Managing of all marketing calendars; and other assigned tasks.
• Managing, centralizing, compiling and tracking all marketing activities utilizing resources available.
• Managing and coordinating Assets/Hospitality requests in accordance with company policies.
• Managing of all the marketing and promotions calendar inputs across the brand, category, partnerships, events, sales, finance, and Footlocker Inc. team.
• Submiting updates to marketing and promotions calendar to team and VP for review in a timely manner
• Communicating out any changes/additions, clarification needed from team contributors
• Supporting all files on shared drive associated with marketing calendar
• Being sociable and available to travel to events and network with other sports brands and contacts while blogging, tweeting, and engaging in social media marketing on the road.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience coordinating marketing plans.
A Self-starter and highly motivated team player with an in-depth understanding of marketing.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
