The Director, Global Online Marketplaces will set the strategy and direction for our rapidly expanding Global Marketplace business. This is an exciting new role that will be a key contributor to our future digital commerce growth. In this role, you will build enterprise value and sales growth by connecting Merchandising, Wholesale Sales, Global Marketing and eCommerce departments. This includes aligning Go-To-Market strategies and calendars, establishing and deploying best practices for Marketplace opportunity assessment, Marketplace relationship management, and operations. As the Director of Online Marketplaces, you will be accountable for defining and refining the strategy, success and execution of our marketplace programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive the implementation of Crocs’ Digital Commerce Channel Strategy globally through a focus on building presence in Online 3rd Party Marketplaces
• Foster productive, professional relationships with key personnel at the regional GM and sales channel leadership level in Americas, Europe & AMEA regions.
• Partner with Global eCommerce leaders to drive sales to consumers through Online Marketplaces
• Champion the benefits and opportunities in digital practice (marketing, commerce, customer engagement) proliferation cross-functionally as a part of the company’s broader growth strategy
• Spearhead the adoption of best practices by Regional Marketplace teams in leveraging global standards, practices and services to deliver operating results
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree. Higher Education a plus, MBA, Masters of Administration etc.
• 7-10+ years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education including significant experience in the B2C ecommerce or retail fields with a focus on Marketplace selling (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Tmall, Mercado Libre, Zalando, Rakutan Marketplace)
• Demonstrated leadership working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries and resource levels to effect positive change
• Solid understanding of trends in retail consumer behavior regarding channels of research, purchase and service and with the role of Brands in modern consumer purchase journeys.
• Strong business process experience, including project management and resource prioritization and utilization
• Comfort with ambiguity and change.
• Self-directed, self-teaching and with a bias towards growth industries
