The MC is responsible for their divisional website owning category & product page experience to marketing asset linking across site & email. The position acts as an integral part of the Merchandising/Buying team and supports the day-to-day functions to achieve a compelling customer experience. A key part of the role involves a detail orientated individual with the ability to be flexible and innovative.
• Creates and manages a compelling sort & site experience with Senior / Site Merchandising collaboration
• QA website assets and email linking daily to ensure proper functionality of categories & styles.
• Daily monitoring of styles that stock, as well as the site experience; troubleshooting and executing as needed
• Create and deliver weekly reports for divisions and distribute to team/management.
• Support Buying team by running monthly and/or seasonal reports. Validate data for accuracy. Attend weekly business review meetings to understand business context.
• Reviews the weekly creative - imagery, messaging, and inventory in partnership with the site merchant team.
• Lead weekly site reviews with Site Merchants to review live & upcoming site strategy providing sort direction based on business results from web analytics, trends and competitive landscape
• Supports photo planning process by submitting photography requests and creating an assortment tracker. Detect any issues to Site Merchants and appropriate cross functional teams.
• Ability to identify obstacles, determine cause & recommend solutions to keep the business/work flow moving forward utilizing every resource.
• Pro-actively identify and communicate best practices, solutions to tool/system/report issues, etc. to fellow MC team members and Site Merchant team.
• 1-2 years of retail experience, Ecommerce experience preferred
• Bachelor’s / Associate’s Degree preferred
• Self-starter and highly motivated, capable of balancing multiple priorities working in a fast-paced team environment
• Accuracy in data management and systems execution
• Proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel skills preferred
• Strong problem solving, organizational & time management skills
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Provide manager with timely feedback on personal developmental and training goals
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with global and cross functional business partners
