Description
• Keep projects on track through clear communication and establishing priorities. Clear identification of deliverables, risk identification/mitigation, issue tracking, escalation management, status meetings, etc. Responsible for managing timelines for all retailers' seasonal updates and keeping projects moving.
• Communicates deliverables clearly and is proactive to make recommendations to prioritize projects should delays arise.
• Serves as project lead for open sell and retailer accounts, from planning through execution cycle. Work closely with marketing to ensure new product launches and discontinued SKUs are planned in the fixture updates.
• Work closely with the VM team to ensure copy, art direction, and technical drawings are handed over with clear direction. Review and edit technical drawings and fixture prototypes with vendors and designers to ensure quality standards, artwork layout, product fit and SKU count is accurate.
• Partner with the VP of VM/SD to delegate and prioritize the graphic team's workload.
• Manage all communications with fixture and graphic vendors to ensure timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Meet with cross-functional teams such as creative, marketing and sales teams to validate timelines and gain approvals.
• Work with international affiliates on global execution, guidelines and approvals for their projects.
• Attend all necessary meetings with retailers, affiliates, vendors and team members that support the business. Hold weekly status meetings with the creative team.
• Create, organize and maintain the VM and SD Smartsheet tracking matrix and make sure there is clear communication on all upcoming priorities
• Work closely with global marketing to understand new product launches and discontinuation cadence. Responsible for proactively gathering products for all VM needs
• Have a strong understanding of the Bobbi Brown North America, International and Travel Retail markets, especially regional merchandising systems, launch calendars, and support collateral.
• Take a broad look at the visual merchandising process and identify organizational efficiencies that can save time and cost
Qualifications
• At least 5+ years project management experience leading large and small matrix teams and multiple projects in parallel. Solid knowledge of standard project management tools and best practices, and methodologies, including but not limited to project definition and project scheduling.
• Strategic, analytical, detail-oriented with exceptional project management skills.
• Displays learning agility and ability to creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Working and applied knowledge of the Adobe creative suite
• Must have experience with retail or construction Project Management, display and graphic production, fixture systems, and SKU planning, and
• Strong eye for detail in reviewing and editing information.
• Able to process information quickly and draw conclusions.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Able to lead teams and build collaborative relationships.
• A multi-tasker who can prioritize, delegate, and deliver against varying deadlines.
• Beauty experience a plus
