POSITION SUMMARY:
Our goal is to be a top destination for technical talent who happen to love lipstick! This role is responsible for leading a broad range of HR responsibilities for the Company’s Online Division. The most critical part of this role is taking the business strategy and aligning our HR objectives to support the business. This role oversees the day to day HR functions for the fast paced and dynamic eCommerce teams. This role handles Employee Relations, Organizational Design, Talent Development, Performance Management, Compensation, Training and Employee Programs. This role is Global, with a focus on our North America business.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
• Help set and drive progress against the HR strategy in support of the Online business
• Drives innovation in our approach to Talent Development, Compensation, Recruitment and Organization Development
• Utilizes creative thinking and creative approach to problem solving on a daily basis
Talent / Culture
• Overseeing and taking a proactive approach to employee relations. Acting as an employee advocate, helping to identify trends and making recommendations by providing guidance and issue resolution. Creating and managing Performance Improvement Plans where required. Must be able to assess a problem, identify the root cause, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Making internal career development recommendations based on employees’ strengths and developmental readiness.
• Fostering a culture of engagement that values diversity and inclusion and that demonstrates fair and consistent management practices.
Org Development and Change Management
• Integrating oneself into the business by understanding what the Online Division does, and getting to know and objectively assess the best structure, process and talent for high growth
• Understanding external trends in the marketplace and making recommendations on how those could affect internal Online employees
• Facilitates change leadership by aligning resources and key stakeholders within Online and within the rest of the organization
Annual HR Processes
• Overseeing, influencing, and executing the annual HR processes, such as the annual Performance Management cycle, the Talent Planning process (i.e., succession planning) the bi-annual salary planning cycle
• Participating in and successfully launching company and HR initiatives and meeting project
