The Merchandise Systems Coordinator is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company’s key vendor interface system, as well as drop ship order management.

Company Interfaces:
This position will report to the Director of Merchandise Operations and will interface with Merchandise Operations, Merchandise Planning, Finance, Distribution, Merchandising, as well as general management. This role also has significant interactions with the Orvis vendors.
This is an individual contributor role and does not involve supervision of other Associates. This is a non-exempt/ hourly position and will be apx. 30 hours/ week.
Functional Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall management of the VendorNet system; this includes management of daily exception reporting, account setup and revisions, processing of EDI shipment and invoice files, addressing system errors, monitoring supplier zone inbox and invoice matching process, and enabling / disabling vendor accounts
• Responsible for training and ongoing support of internal and external customers in functionality of our web based purchase order system, VendorNet
• Troubleshooting problems with internal and external customers within VendorNet; also, providing reporting and analysis to internal customers
• Accountable for overseeing drop ship order process and ensuring orders are being processed in a timely manner; addressing item setup or order discrepancies with the merchant, vendor or customer service team
• Communication of contract detail and vendor compliance requirements to external drop ship vendors
• Providing regular performance reporting to top vendors and work to improve that performance.
Qualifications:
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required
• Results oriented individual with strong numerical and mathematical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• 1-3 years of system administration and/or customer support
• BA/BS degree in business-related field and/or relevant work experience
