Marketing & Public Relations Manager
The Role
Superdry is expanding rapidly across the globe and is enjoying success across all our channels – retail, e-commerce, and wholesale. This brand new role is based in our New York City office and reports to the Global Marketing Manager. It will involve the coordination and implementation of our short and long term marketing plans, objectives and strategies. This role will ensure all activities for our stores in the US are aligned with brand positioning and guidelines; reflecting brand identity, core values and image.
You will
• Gather accurate market information and identify opportunities to support the planning and creation of new marketing materials
• Assist in the creation of regional marketing plans by ensuring accurate budgeting, effective marketing planning and implementation
• Work with UK head office marketing department to ensure culturally appropriate, market relevant and consistent material is supplied in a timely manner, can be re-produced locally at high quality and provides the required support and expectation
• Ensure all accounts have correct marketing materials and facilitate the immediate removal of all ‘off-brand’/substandard marketing material
• Plan and coordinate promotional events from start to finish including creating press releases and media content
• Implement and build strategic partnerships and relationships with other brands, creators, influencers and social innovators
• Build and execute a social media strategy to drive audience growth and support marketing and sales goals for the US
• Develop strong relationships and maintain continuous internal communications across all marketing activity with UK head office marketing, local retail operations, sales and visual merchandising teams
• Manage and allocate budgets for assigned markets/activities, utilizing the internal PO system to ensure budget compliance
You are
• Experienced with 3-5 years of proven marketing experience in a fashion environment
• Qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
• Able to work independently, prioritize workload and work under pressure
• Able to generate new ideas and embrace change
• Able to quickly identify issues, focusing on solutions and generating alternatives
• Skilled in project management with meticulous attention to detail
• Knowledgeable of the fashion industry with a strong commercial awareness
• Competent across all Microsoft Office Applications
• Flexible to travel internationally
