The Social Media Strategist will oversee the planning and execution of all paid social media strategies, as well as provide guidance as it relates to identifying, researching and establishing prospective influencers and/or partners to advance the performance of current social media and develop new paid social programs. The Social Media Strategist will serve as a subject matter expert on paid social media.

Responsibilities
As Eastbay’s Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for:
• Implement the strategic plan for Eastbay’s paid social media strategy
• Monitors and reports on the impact of paid social campaigns in conjunction with organic social campaigns
• Develop forecasts to efficiently budget marketing spend and vendor promoted items
• Research and evaluate potential influencer/agency social marketing programs
• Perform regular analysis and research on relevant paid social trends, strategies and objectives
• Ensure brand/message consistency across all paid social space
• Maintain knowledge and expertise in relevant social platforms
• Participate in special product release events as necessary
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
• Professional social media management/coordination experience, ideally social media marketing within a brand
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or relevant field
• Combined education and experience will be considered
• Passion and knowledge of the athletic industry
• Flexibility to travel as needed
