Job Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements
Under the direction of the VP of Marketing and in close partnership with the Directors of Marketing for Women’s/Lifestyle and Men’s/Kids; the Creative Director In House Agency, is responsible for Creative Direction and Art Direction for all internal content production for the UGG brand from conception to execution. He/She will work closely with the Directors of Marketing who manages the external agency relationships and brand campaigns and be a stakeholder into the process of the development of those campaigns.
The Creative Director In House Agency (CD-IHA) is responsible for concept development and idea generation to meet and exceed the requirements of the briefs from the internal stakeholders. The CD-IHA is responsible for the development of presentations and pitches; as well as the creative direction and execution of the approved concepts, in close collaboration with and support of the Production Manager and Project Manager. The CD-IHA is responsible for executing the content in the most impactful, premium and cost effective way. The objective of each concept is to deliver solutions and executions for integrated marketing campaign strategies that will be executed globally across all channels – inclusive of paid media (mobile, digital, OOH, print), social media, PR, ecommerce, retail and wholesale.
The CD-IHA would lead the in house agency team in producing high quality content and experiences that are consistent with the brand vision and identity. The CD-IHA would be creating content locally in the Deckers Studio as well as off site with external partners when necessary. They would be responsible for together with the Production Manager organize productions that deliver on the concept: including pre-production and the sourcing and hiring of talent (photographers, videographers, prop stylists, stylists, models, hair and make up artists, locations etc), on-set creative direction, editing, manage retouching and post production and final delivery of assets to internal stakeholders or external partners - all within approved budgets, timelines and capabilities.
Education & Experience
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar discipline
10+ year’s experience
Advertising agency experience on major brands with a fashion/lifestyle/footwear focus – CD or ACD
In-House experience as CD or AD in fashion/lifestyle/footwear
Proven track record of leading and producing successful campaigns
Experience building and leading creative teams
Design Art Direction preferred
Strong relationships in the premium production world – photographers, directors, talent, production houses
Digital and mobile marketing experience a must.
Experience working with global brands and consumers.
