Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Digital Commerce & Site Experience Assistant that can manage the site production and merchandising for Tory Sport and lead the execution of site refreshes and daily optimization of the site experience for the Tory Sport consumer. This individual will bring knowledge of e-commerce and organization skills to support team objectives of driving sales and enhancing the customer experience. This position reports to the Director of Digital Commerce & Site Experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop & execute seasonal plans and strategies for digital to drive the brand and business goals
• Traffic and coordinate all aspects of Ecommerce production cycle in order to facilitate the execution of both technical and creative initiatives for the website
• Responsible for set up and execution of all daily/weekly/monthly website changes including managing data related to seasonal content, product information, product imagery, site functionality, promotions and pricing
• Manage internal site search keywords to reduce no search results and creation of additional website synonyms and redirects
• Partner with Site Operations to develop the Digital Roadmap and identify key initiatives, site enhancements and partnerships to drive the business
• QA/Test all launches of new content/functionality to website from development to the live websites
• Manage Site Experience Assistant to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency of daily site maintenance
• Manage all day to day activities with direct impact on Ecommerce business process improvements
• Ensure a digital lens is being applied to all Tory Sport projects and bring that perspective to the forefront of decision making
• Partner with Marketing to drive acquisition & retention strategy and initiatives
• Partner with marketing to plan email cadence and strategy that will increase conversion
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce or web content management; retail industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of a CMS (Demandware knowledge is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of basic HTML is a plus
• Fast learning ability to understand content management tools
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and react to shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines. Attention to detail is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – with a strong need to convey statuses clearly and succinctly to a wide range of cross-functional audiences
• Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing professionally
• Team player who is results-oriented and has the ability to build relationships to achieve team goals
