Job title: Sr. Digital Analyst
General Summary:
The Sr. Digital Analyst will develop and maintain reporting, analysis, and dashboards that provide actionable insights to drive sales and profitability of our ecommerce channels. He or she will also serve as the lead analyst for DSW’s Optimization program. This position will collaborate effectively with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, Merchandising, Operations and IT teams, to deliver the analytics needs and insights to optimize the customer experience and deliver continued growth.
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that inform leadership DSW’s ecommerce channel performance
• Support ad hoc analysis to continuously improve ecommerce and online merchandising performance
• Serve as lead analyst supporting digital optimization program (A/B testing, Multi-variate testing and Online Personalization)
◦ Design and validate test plans
◦ Analyze and report out on optimization outcomes
• Manage eCom reporting requests and prioritization
• Ensure reporting and analysis accuracy through regular data validation activities
• Collaborate and ensure alignment across Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations
• Clearly communicate insights with leadership teams and cross-functional stakeholders on a recurring basis
Required Skills and Competencies:
• Strong data and analytical skills, including data retrieval, organization, analysis, presentation and summary
• High degree of analytical curiosity that leads to actionable insight
• Proficient in MS Excel (graphing, pivot tables, data manipulation, formulas, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in high paced cross functional environment with changing business needs
• Experience with digital analytics and optimization tools (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target preferred)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills as well as high degree of initiative and personal responsibilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Superior process management skills with proven ability to identify and proactively solve problems
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines; strong time management skills
• Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
Qualifications
Experience:
• 3-5 years of digital analytics experience
Education:
• Undergraduate Degree in Business or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with BI and or data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Qlik
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with statistical analysis
• Knowledge of tag management systems and concept of data layer
