Director, Global Marketing, Treatment, Clinique
Description
•Responsible for keeping ED abreast of assigned category performance, product opportunities and all category related information.
Constantly monitors the performance of Clinique versus the competition to identify product need gaps and opportunities; develops and executes action plans to improve brand performance
Is the expert and key point person for performance of assigned segments (shipments, sell-thru, cost of goods, sku count, pricing and new product forecasts) as well as the competition
•Assists ED in developing Global Marketing Calendars and support programs; responsible for gaining approval for assigned segment programs and projects.
Responsible for managing the conception and development of marketing programs for assigned categories
Manages team to prepare business cases and planning documents to gain Senior Management approval on launch support
Responsible for overseeing the preparation of all Planning Guides to inform all markets of the upcoming programs for assigned categories
•Directs all forums for program/product development to ensure that programs meet Clinique’s strategic and financial objectives for specified segments
Provides direction and spearheads the development of launches with all necessary support groups on assigned projects.
Oversees the preparation of all paperwork necessary to get projects registered internally; Manages support program development to ensure programs are on time, within budget and meet strategic objectives
•Cultivates close collaborative relationships with local marketing teams to ensure programs developed by global Marketing meet affiliate market needs.
•Responsible for providing all affiliates with timely information on all calendarized programs; liaises regularly with affiliate Marketing teams to ensure programs meet Market needs
•Prepares materials for presentation of marketing plans to all affiliates and Retailers when applicable, i.e. Sales Meetings, Regional Roundtables.
•Manages and is responsible for the performance of a direct report including on-time performance and accuracy of projects.
Leads by example to create an environment that is encouraging, respectful and builds team cooperation
Qualifications
•Minimum of 8 years related experience
•Possesses strong leadership, analytical, creative, and communication skills.
•Possesses pro-active strategic and critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations.
•Self-starter, accountable and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines at once. Highly detail-oriented with unprompted follow-through.
•Proven balance of results and program driver with finessed stakeholder engagement and partnership builder.
•Seasoned leader that effectively manages and develops direct report.
•Team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams.
•Trend-spotter and in tune with evolving consumer and market shifts. Naturally curious and forward-thinking.
•Should demonstrate a passion for the cosmetics/beauty industry.
