Buyer (Coupa)
Overview
Tiffany & Co is seeking a Coupa Buyer in Parsippany NJ. The Coupa Buyer will conduct ongoing, daily management of Coupa Purchase Orders for USA corporate and retail teams. The individual will liaise with the various corporate and retail organizations, as well as suppliers, ensuring that Purchase Orders are processed in a timely manner and resolving issues immediatly. The individual should be comfortable with Source-to-Pay systems, and with procurement category and supplier management.
Responsibilities
The Coupa Buyer will conduct daily ongoing Coupa Purchase Order management for USA purchases, including: researching and completing missing information on a requisition, minimizing burden on the requester, answering basic questions about how to properly place an order in Coupa and escalating as necessary, processing PO’s as quickly as possible to minimize disruption to the business, conducting basic compliance checks to ensure requisition is completed with correct information required for the supplier to properly process the order, monitoring free-form requests and recommending suppliers that should be brought under contract, monitoring free-form requests and recommending items that should be brought onto catalog, and reviewing, approving, and loading hosted catalog content submitted by suppliers in Coupa (when needed).
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of diversified procurement/finance/accounting and systems related experience
• BA/BS from an accredited university, preferably with a degree in Supply Chain/Finance/Accounting or Information Systems
• Coupa eProcurement experience (or other world-class Source-to-Pay system, like Ariba)
• Tableau experience
• Customer service and team oriented individual
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with time-sensitive constraints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours during peak seasons of supported organizations
• Ability to interact with individuals of varying levels
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
