Bass, among others is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join it's team based on New York City.
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Benefits & Compensation Director with the administration of global benefit and compensation programs and special assigned projects.
Responsibilities
• Provide new employees with an explanation of benefits and instruct them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures.
• Administrate COBRA, LOAs, FMLA usage and other issues as required by our in-house regulations and legal requirements.
• Assist employee with enrolling in medical, dental and vision insurance plans.
• Inform employees of changes to the benefits structure.
• Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators.
• Consult with employees about eligibility and other issues.
• Review bi-weekly payroll deductions.
• Provide ongoing support for benefits and HR teams.
• Process enrollments quickly and accurately.
• Cooperate with other HR professionals when required.
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of reporting/data analysis desirable.
• Basic understanding of employee benefits.
• Ability to organize and review large sums of data.
• Demonstrate high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
