Responsibilities
The role of the Coordinator, Global Visual Presentation is to support the day-to-day needs of the Global Visual Presentation team and the Visual Merchandising community. This includes ensuring our internal and external showrooms reflect the commercial and marketing intentions of the kate spade new york brand. This role will also support the milestone calendar needs of the Visual Merchandising team as well as the VP, Global Visual Presentation.
Core Responsibilities/Deliverables:
• Responsible for visual presentations in 2 Park showrooms, ensuring execution of brand standards
◦ Partner with facilities team to communicate all repairs, maintenance, and supply needs surrounding areas of responsibility
◦ Compile seasonal photo decks of showroom creative and visual presentation
# ready-to-wear inspiration/mannequin styling for global directives
# internal/external market presentations for market upkeep
# professional image deck to be shared for global inspiration
◦ Management of showroom archives / reference tools
# ensure seasonal photos are added to server in a timely manner for shared access
# maintain showroom folder organization /update photos as needed
◦ Partner with Creative Production to:
# Assist with initial setup of seasonal creative in showrooms
# Source props and materials for all showroom setups
# Manage contractors and vendors during showroom build outs
◦ Partner with Licensing Team to:
# Manage seasonal market calendars
# Coordinate seasonal visits to stationery and fashion accessories showrooms - creating impactful visual presentations per category
# Source props and materials for showroom setups
# Compile photo decks showcasing visual presentation and key product strategies
# Assist with all maintenance and supply/fixture needs for each individual showroom
# Manage seasonal expenses (coding, processing, tracking & confirming accuracy)
◦ Management of visual fixtures and props:
# Maintenance of both fixture and prop closets
# Source and ship fixtures and props as needed
# Manage 2 Park inventory of all TOC fixtures/visual props
◦ Provide assistance and administrative support for global visual team:
# Manage global prop card/senior management’s expenses (coding, processing & tracking)
# Schedule bi-weekly visual meetings/conference calls
# Assist with special projects/presentations
# Coordinate visual meetings for senior management as needed
Qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Strong time management skills – able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Works well both as part of a team and independently
• Professional demeanor, forward thinker and proactive approach
• Skilled with in-design software, word, excel and outlook
Physical Requirements:
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Standing and stretching for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable climbing ladders.
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous visual merchandising experience in a luxury goods or comparable retail environment
