Job Description: The International Junior Account Executive reports to the Senior Account Executive and is primarily responsible for managing direct sales to international accounts for Joie, Current Elliott, & Equipment; in addition to driving and increasing revenue in the direct sale territories. This candidate is expected to open new doors, proactively manage each account, meet and exceed sales goals, and develop innovative ways to grow the business season after season.
Duties:
• Manage and further develops existing relationships with direct sale international accounts including both specialty and department stores.
• Increase specialty and department store business growth with current accounts and new accounts.
• Develop business strategies to prospect new accounts.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly sales for specialty and department stores in assigned territories.
• Review websites and competition on a weekly basis and provides constructive feedback to sales and merchandising teams.
• Maintain and reviews final selling analysis for select specialty store and department stores internationally.
• Help with market prep
• Help to provide market recaps including feedback specific to direct sale territories.
• Assist with logistics and preparations for trade shows
• Participate in representing and/or selling the line in trade shows in New York and Paris
• Travel to Paris for pre-collections market and main collections market
• Follow up with trade show orders with accounts and customer service.
• Oversee communication with Joor specific to line sheet uploads and updates, delegating to sales assistant when necessary.
• Manage sample needs for press requests from individual accounts, working closely with Sales Assistant
• Partner with domestic sales team in New York and acts as the number one point person/Liason in New York for the VP of International Sales
• All other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
• In depth knowledge of women’s contemporary and emerging designer markets
• Strong Organization skills and multi-tasking skills
• Strong Interpersonal relationship skills
• 2-5 years of experience in sales, showroom and office administrative management
• Ideal but not required 2-5 years experience and exposure to international sales
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high performance environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, accountability and confidentiality
• Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to analyze work-load and plan accordingly
