RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Home Office Display Team in conceptualizing the creation of all Wholesale artwork/display, both large and small scale. Work together to submit detailed display plans for approval on all projects.
• Coordinate and manage distribution, shipping and transportation of display materials for projects
• Work within budget parameters; thoughtfully maximize opportunities for purchasing materials on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Manage display installation and breakdown for all tradeshows
• Work with Home Office and Wholesale Visual Team on seasonal showroom updates and special projects.
COMMUNICATION:
• Bridge all visual information across channels through emails, photos, skype, facetime, sketches, digital renderings, phone calls etc.
• Weekly check-in with Home Office Display team to stay aware of all ongoing projects and to share current inspiration.
• Note all tracking information and pass on to necessary parties. Be mindful of deadlines and shipping windows to complete projects in a timely manner.
• When on site: go in with a plan of execution, communicate progress of projects with Home Office team, bounce ideas around, problem solve, and talk about how ideas can be improved.
• Assess all install logistics and communicate those details to parties on the opposite end; timing, travel dates, goals, man-power needs, budgets, packaging/sizing, shipping, and delivery of materials.
• Always follow up projects with a recap to the team after they are completed. Send final photos, talk about what was successful, what didn’t work and how to improve.
INSTALLATIONS:
• Creatively direct and execute seasonal display concepts.
• NYC showroom has the first look at all seasonal roll outs; huge opportunity to elaborate and elevate seasonal concepts in order to plan how display will work in department stores and tradeshows.
• Consider various display materials and tools; understand the different applications and limitations of these elements in certain settings.
• Explore new materials and techniques, work with guidance from the Home Office team to create new expanded developments that work for Wholesale needs.
• Always be looking for ideas and inspirational tears for these channels. You will have the most exposure to these venues, so you must help feed ideas and problem solve how we Brand these locations.
