Purpose
Responsible of Order Fulfillment (inbound planning, sales order/inventory management and distribution planning) for adidas’ Distribution Centers in North America. Drive continuous planning, process, system and service improvements with the goal of achieving on time availability and delivery as well as supporting strategic business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop medium and long-term strategic direction for Order Fulfillment and work with team managers to execute strategy/initiatives.
• Develop a high-performance team, provide training, coaching, professional growth, and career planning to ensure organisational health and sustainability.
• Ensure that ‘demand’ of Channels/Customers will be fulfilled by on time and in full delivery.
• Promotes consistent inter-departmental communication with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Purchasing, DC Operations and Transportation and Information Technology to assist adidas in exceeding all corporate goals, initiatives and forecasts.
• Responsible for Inbound Logistics, Planning and Management from point of ex-factory until delivery to an adidas Fulfillment Centre or direct delivery to Customer. Balancing and achieving service and cost targets i.e. lead time compliance, container fill-rate, equipment usage and avoidance of demurrage and detention
• Work with finance and channel partners to produce short and medium term (1 to 9 month) Fulfillment Center inventory/shipping projections and work with DC Ops management to ensure that adidas Group DCs (and 3PLs) are operationally prepared to meet business requirements (both volumes and service levels) at best cost, across both peak (drive GamePlan activities in OF and Markets) and low periods.
• Ensure alignment with Cluster and NAM Finance to steer achievement of sales targets.
• Deliver a centralised, efficient and consistent Order Fulfillment service and governance to the NAM market through management of allocation, delivery note creation, order book cleanse, stock movements and transfers in accordance to agreed business rules and schedules.
• Support Inventory/SKU management activities to keep DCs ‘serviceable’ by ensuring that inventory is available in correct DC/Stock Category to meet commercial needs ’in season’ and effective clearance management at ’end of life’ as well as supporting stock transfers/sales/exports to markets outside of NAM.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Purchasing, Customer Service and DC Ops functions to ensure OTIF execution of deliveries against commercial requirements and priorities.
• Ensure strong fulfilment, focus and transparency for product launches.

Qualifications
1. College or university degree with a focus supply chain management, Postgraduate level preferred; alternatively equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Logistics, Footwear, and/or Apparel
2. Minimum of 10 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Customer Service environment within the footwear and apparel industry
3. Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing people
