Title: Senior Digital Content Creator, Social Media
Reports to:Creative Editorial & Social Media Director
Overview:
We are seeking a well-rounded digital creative to join Anthropologie’s growing and fast-paced Social department. The right candidate will be bursting with forward-thinking ideas and have the skills and acumen needed to execute them. Together with the Social Media Director and the Social Media Manager, the Senior Digital Content Creator is responsible for the look and feel of Anthropologie’s social media channels. From short videos and stills to moving image and graphical design treatments, their creative output should be current, relevant and on-brand, and applicable to multiple formats and social platforms, including Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube. Most importantly, the right candidate will live and breathe the world of social media and photography, from being the first to hear about new product updates and editing tools to industry news and design developments – all of which will help inform the strategy and creative direction of Anthropologie’s social channels.
Responsibilities:
• To be a social design pioneer – coming up with exciting and pioneering creative campaigns to get Anthropologie’s social on the map
• In partnership with the Social Media Manager, work across all social channels to align visual consistency and drive innovation
• Daily content planning and creation – from creative conception and mood boards to photographic execution and asset management
• Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Anthropologie’s product, customer and policies in order to generate creative that resonates
• Work closely with copy and product teams to deliver business-relevant messages that drives brand engagements and new followers.
Qualifications:
• Well-rounded Art Direction experience for film and photography on both fashion and lifestyle shoots
• A strong understanding of social content narratives
• Experienced and prolific digital graphic design, photography and video experience
• A highly creative, collaborative, positive and energetic individual, with a hunger to push both boundaries and work in a team
• Extremely well organized, methodical, and efficient
• An ideas person - with good dose of common sense, humor and a heap of initiative
• Innovative and excited to both collaborate or execute alone
• At least 4 years of experience in social media content creation
• A little black book of contacts, from photographers and influencers to creative industry experts
• Self-motivated and proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong vision and entrepreneurial spirit
• Awareness of design developments and trends in social media space
Experience: Degree in Digital or Graphic Design or a related field.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Travel: Some travel required.
