Job Description
One Jeanswear Group designs, markets, produces, and distributes a distinguished portfolio of branded and private label Jeanswear brands throughout North America. We work with retailers in every tier of distribution, seamlessly adapting to the dynamic retail landscape to reach our widespread consumer base. Our focus is on achieving long-term growth by delivering the most innovative product and brand strategies in the market.
This position will support the Director of PR and Marketing on all PR and Social Media related efforts for OJG and all brands, which include the following, but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities related to PR:
• Building and maintaining press relationships
• Managing press/sample requests and sample log in partnership with department assistant
• Manage the monitoring and tracking of press clips for all brands
• Assist in the production of all press materials: creating/executing and distributing seasonal look books.
• Serve as a point of contact w/ Director for all media and press requests. Actively pitch national and regional press (print, digital + broadcast) with a focus on growing our digital media coverage, as well as presence within the blogger + influencer space
• Assist is conceptualizing and executing seasonal press previews as well as other opportunities to entertain and engage with media
• Work closely with Director on ideating press and influencer mailings to increase brand awareness
• Work closely with internal cross functional partners such as sales, design and tech to obtain samples and ensure they are returned to the appropriate department
• Build and maintain updated media lists and PR calendar including important dates for pitching key stories
• Track and assist in circulating clips to internal partners
• Maintain press books in our showroom and keep press up to date on our company website
• Assist is managing and executing all PR/Marketing - related special events for our brands
Essential Duties and Responsibilities related to Social Media:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy and calendar for our brands social media platforms
• Work closely with Director on building relationships with our key accounts social/digital teams
• Work closely with cross functional partners (both internal and external) to determine key seasonal messaging and product focuses to create unique content for our social platforms
• Engage with customers/followers via comments and DMs and respond to customer inquiries
• Work closely with creative team to ideate and execute photo and video assets for social posts
• Report on social performance and engagement
• Target and develop relationships with influencers and potential ambassadors to create brand awareness and partnerships
• Work with Director and creative team to build a strong library of social assets

• A candidate for this position should be highly organized, has superb communication skills, be able to easily multi task and move between projects easily.
• Position involves labor such as: carrying/packing samples, packing boxes etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a must.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop PR programs such as Meltwater or Cision are a plus.
