US National Sales Director - adidas Golf
Purpose
Manage all critical areas of our US Field Sales business including overseeing 4 regional managers and 41 field sales representatives. Also responsible for our Tournament sales business as well as the home pro staff program. Responsibilities include delivering and forecasting financial metrics, creating and leveraging relationships with the account base, exploring business opportunities and managing the team’s responsibilities for calling on these customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Clearly articulate the needs of the business, create a sense of urgency around critical action items and get immediate reaction and engagement from the sales team.
• Ability to create a collaborative environment where sales team can openly discuss the business and strategize on how to maximize our market potential.
• Dynamic sales professional with extraordinary trend projection and forecasting ability while driving sales efforts through personal connection and brand building.
• Develop and maintain a strong business relationship with all external and internal stakeholders in mutual success of our partners and adidas Golf.
• Effectively negotiate sales programs, policies, and procedures to account to help achieve company objectives.
• 50% travel including but not limited to working with the field sales team, off site sales strategy meetings, appropriate tournament event and sales meetings.
Qualifications
1. BA in business, marketing, or related field required.
2. Minimum ten years of golf or similar industry experience in field sales management.
