Description
To support the Marketing Manager by ensuring efficient operations of the Marketing Calendar through forecasting, retail & customer sales analysis by category mix, new launch results and promotional support per door, until in-store execution. Associate will manage and support the development, production, implementation, and measurement of key digital campaigns and initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Handles for RBD: Special Projects assigned by RBD.
• Forecast:
• Oversees saleable forecast proposals by monitoring sell-in and sell thru trends via BI/ SAP to accurately analyze regional saleable needs and finalize approvals across all categories. Present findings to New York Demand Planning, Miami Commercial Team and Regional Director while ensuring regional requirements are taken into account.
• Manages the non-saleable GWPs and all category samples including all forecasts, strategies, allocations for the region by communicating back to New York Demand Planning and Marketing, Miami Commercial Team and Regional Director guaranteeing strategy, gifting trend and opportunities are considered and implemented while evaluating competitors’ tendencies.
• Creates the regional saleable and non-saleable allocations for the team. Administers newness skus by confirming sku descriptions, codes, country of origin, UPC and availability dates are accurate.
• Responsible for promoting usage of newness non-saleable skus each season to avoid excess inventory in Lachen.
• Marketing:
• Initiates seasonal product assortments by working with Pricing Team and Marketing Manager to ensure retailer restrictions and pricing for newness are correctly included for the region and for all commercial accounts.
• Executes item restrictions for all retailer accounts to Lachen to ensure accurate orders and product placement for the region. Daily interaction with Commercial Team and Lachen, analyzing order confirmations and providing replacement feedback on coding issues to make certain that all orders are entered fully to prevent the loss of revenue.
• Responsible for creating and distributing launch Sell-in and Sell-thru Reports of newness launches providing suggestions based on analysis and current out of stock scenarios for the Brand on continuous skus to support sales accurate planning and achievement of goals. Alerts the team on launch availability and provides updates of delayed on counter dates on an ongoing basis.
• Creates digital advertising promotions for in-store screens
• Independently develops and presents all GWP, Sampling, Container and Digital budget lines to Marketing Manager, Business Manager and Regional Director. Reviews action points for the upcoming fiscal year to ensure alignment with affiliates, local market, and relevant travel corridors.
• Establishes with Marketing Manager and Field Team marketing promotional calendars per Retailer for each brand.
• Presents all newness to commercial team and internal employees as well as key retailers each
season.
• Researches and oversees the development of promotional elements/tools production. Liaises between Commercial Team, Marketing and Training Managers for proper organization of promotional events while maximizing relations with outside vendors.
• Compiles and researches quarterly competitive analysis and submits to the New York Office.
• Reviews all open invoices in SAP and allocates in the proper budget line and door level for accruals and P&L accuracy.
• Leads the preparation of Sales Cycle and Retailer by finalizing all marketing presentations, guaranteeing newness materials availability for the Commercial Team (market samples, comps, visuals, sales books) and the meeting room set up and gifts to top retailers.
• Digital
• Develop and deploy digital and social media engagement activities, and provide retailers with online promotions and product information.
• Support the Marketing Manager and team in ensuring that digital campaigns are executed with excellence and on time.
• Partner with Digital Marketing team to support the aggregation and development of product content for partner websites and managing product assortment by retailer
• Organize and maintain a Digital and Social Media calendar, leveraging assets from Global Brand, with posts drafted and scheduled for future publication. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure promotional and social media activities are live according to calendar.
• Provide all digital assets for Special Events and HPPs
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of business experience preferably in marketing, analysis sales, forecasting and/or market and consumer trends.
• Cosmetics industry and Travel Retail background preferred.
• 2 minimum years of digital and social media marketing.
• Familiarity with and interest in high-tech, social and digital trends
• Fully Bilingual-read, write and speak English and Spanish.
• Available to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Strong computer knowledge of Windows; Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Photoshop, In-Design
• Multi-task abilities and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
