Overview
The Senior Digital Analyst will leverage web analytics and customer data to support onsite experience and marketing initiatives for Anthropologie.com. This individual will be a key contributor to the success of our fast-growing ecommerce unit, partnering with the development, creative, merchandising, and marketing teams to provide the best experience for the Anthropologie customer
Responsibilities
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Provide metrics, insights, and recommendations to support onsite enhancements, marketing campaigns, and promotions before, during and after implementation.
• Execute day-to-day ad-hoc analytic requests using web analytics tools, microstrategy reports, and the CRM database (using SQL query skills).
• Act as a partner for onsite testing including tasks such as formulating ideas, assisting with results and consulting on the prioritization of new testing requests.
• Desire to bring together web analytics data, digital marketing data, user experience data, industry research, and collaboration with partners to optimize site conversion.
• Work with both the development team and the tag management vendor to implement new tags and monitor and enhance existing tags. Monitor the current state of tagging implementation to ensure data is coming through as expected.
• Learn and utilize additional tools (besides web analytics) to better optimize the site experience, including site personalization, product recommendations, site testing, marketing attribution, and more as needed.
Qualifications
• 2-3 years in an ecommerce environment analyzing site behavioral trends, sales metrics, and digital analytics data
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; advanced Excel skills a must
• Experience with analytics applications for ecommerce e.g, Coremetrics, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics required
• Experience executing or assisting in continuous updates to site and marketing tags required.
• Experience using a tag management system (Tealium, Google Tag Manager, etc.) preferred
• Experience building and executing reports via Microstrategy, or using other data visualization tools such as Domo or Tableau preferred.
• Experience executing queries in a database environment (SQL/SAS/R or similar) a plus
• Experience with HTML, CSS and/or Javascript a plus
• Experience with site testing/personalization tools (Dynamic Yield, SiteSpect, Monetate) a plus
• Possesses a strong analytical capability and uses logical thought process to solve problems
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate analytical insight
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented organization
• A passion and curiosity for the ever-changing digital space
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
