Position Overview:
• Responsible for activities within the logistics function by ensuring adherence to shipping schedules and any other specific customer requirements.
• Permanent cabinetry shipping and promotional shipping.
• Responsible for activities associated with the receiving and crediting of customer returned goods – overages, shortages, and damages.
• Tracks, reports, and interprets performance metrics and analysis of business trends.
Responsibilities:
• Interfaces with Transportation service providers to coordinate inbound returns shipments.
• Coordinates all Customer returns and refusals for all Consumer shipments. Interfaces with Customer Logistics Representatives.
• Ensures timely and accurate entry of customer shipment information into the Returns Log to ensure expeditious customer credit.
• Interaction with Credit regarding customer returns and refusals.
• Communicates with Distribution departments (multiple sites) with regards to shipping discrepancies.
• Publishing of reports on OS&D activity.
• Provides departmental support to transportation operation.
• Ensures timely shipping of orders (at a rate of approximately 1000 per month) through daily contacts with Oxford and Phoenix distribution.
• Ensures timely delivery of all the key account orders through daily follow-up with carriers, LTL, parcel, and Truckload, and delivering terminals.
• Resolves any delays or problems that occur within the transportation process through carrier contact.
• Initiates special delivery requests, when required or when requested by Key Accounts sales management.
• Reports on a daily basis on progress of all shipments to Customer Logistics and Key Accounts sales management and to Transportation management as needed.
• Maintains daily contacts with Key Accounts customer service representatives.
• Serves as back up to the Senior Transportation Coordinator and Freight-In Coordinator in all functions.
• Issues on hand notices to carriers.
• Coordination between planning and 3 PL vendors on timing for production and shipments.
• Obtain updates from Planning on availability of components.
• Coordination with Marketing on key projects and roll-outs to customers on permanent cabinetry.
• Coordinate transportation with senior transportation coordinators – pick-up scheduling.
• DOP Report for permanent cabinetry.
• Responsible on 3PL invoicing.
• Follow-up on Consumer invoicing shipping from other Revlon-EA facilities.
• Daily financial reporting on 3PL shipping.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and make agile decisions in a fast paced environment.
• Advanced P.C. skills to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Power Point.
• Knowledge of all Transportation functions and modes.
• Excellent communication, mathematics, analytical and follow-up skills.
