This position will focus on analytics support for the PUMA North America online stores, including both US and Canadian online stores. As a core member of the ecommerce team, the Ecommerce Analyst has responsibility for providing all the reporting necessary for the immediate team, management, and senior management on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and adhoc basis. This team member will interact with senior management directly so excellent presentation and communication skills are a must. On a day to day basis, the Ecommerce Analyst will use a multitude of data sources to provide reporting and give detailed informative suggestions based on through and thoughtful analysis.
Responsibilities:
◦ Manage all reporting for the Puma North American ecommerce webstore.
◦ Partner with the ecommerce leadership team to ensure a cohesive team environment where all reporting needs are executed and supported.
◦ Partner with the head of ecommerce to ensure business objectives are achieved through constant monitoring of KPIs and constant analysis of the business.
◦ Maintain and provide all daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reporting from a variety of data sources to coworkers, manager and senior management.
◦ Lead weekly business review discussions, sharing Key Performance Metrics against budget and last years numbers.
◦ Lead quarterly presentation of the Ecommerce business to PUMA senior executives.
◦ Maintain all Adobe Analytics reporting and team access.
◦ Maintain all SAINT product and marketing channel classifications in Adobe Analytics. Create new variable classifications when necessary.
◦ Provide any and all ad hoc marketing analytical requests to assess performance of key marketing tactics.
• Maintain, create, and manage all data segmentation in Adobe Analytics.
• Responsible for querying CRM database to gain insight into the customer buying and retention cycle.
• Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices
• Create and manage all forecasting to warehouse and call center
• Assist Head of eCommerce in budget and P&L objectives
• Build interactive financial models for eCommerce Customer Care and Projects
• Assist in future Analytics and Optimization projects with the GLOBAL team
• Manage third party analytic programs (Click tale, Perimeter X, Adobe)
• Build and implement javascript through Tag Management tool for Marketing campaigns and other eCommerce vendor programs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or business related field a must
• 3-5 years’ experience as an Analyst required with 1-3 years in Ecommerce analytics
• Prior experience in Retail, specifically footwear & apparel, preferred but not required.
• Adobe Report Builder experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Adobe Javascript a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Classification Rule Builder (including RegEx) a plus, but not required.
• Experience with BI software, such as Tableau
• Expert proficiency with the MS Office Suite; PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience as an administrative user of Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Coremetrics, or Google Analytics a must
• Prior experience in forecasting sales and margin as well as being able to build financial models for analyzing potential future project investments
• The individual must be a high energy, driven self-starter who is able to work without constant direction. Being naturally inquisitive by looking for key site findings without being prompted to do so is essential to success in this role.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure/meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to respond to last minute requests and adapt to changes in business trend.
