Manages, develops, implements, and coordinates all Human Resource initiatives, projects and programs for HUGO BOSS Retail, Inc., including but not limited to: employee relations, compensation, recruitment, performance management, talent management, benefits, and training & development. Oversee all retail functions inclusive of shops for US & Canada.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage all HR functions, including talent review and acquisition, performance management, organizational capability and design, compensation, benefits, diversity, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access and quality service.
• Execute the strategic direction of HR, including implementation of high-value added HR processes that support business goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership, advice and counsel to management on all human capital issues.
• Support 152 retail stores and 1100 employees throughout the US and Canada.
• Coach, mentor and develop business partners.
• Identify and develop leadership talent for pipeline and succession planning.
• Leverage HR policies, programs and practices to create and maintain a positive, high-performing workplace.
• Manage projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance.
• Implement and communicate company policies and procedures to managers and employees.
• Assist business partners in managing associate performance and developing talent through performance improvement plans, including but not limited to: discipline, succession planning, training and development.
• Implement and oversee the Performance Management process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment and learning strategies, and leadership development.
• Work with the SVP of Retail, retail team and concessions to ensure accurate and efficient headcount budget.
• Develop the HR Generalist, Recruiter, and Coordinator and any other subordinates to best support the retail and concessions team.
• Work with the HR team on various projects and strategy to grow and develop the business.
• Travel required across the US, 20% to 40%.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required/Master’s Degree preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of HR Generalist experience
• Previous management experience
• Experience supporting retail stores required; Fashion industry experience a plus
• Strong team development, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Ability to coach senior managers/leaders
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Expert level user in Microsoft suite of products, particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Unquestionable work ethic, personal integrity, and honesty
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of HR employment related laws/practices
