The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Temporary Ecommerce Quality Assurance and Testing position, located at our New York Offices.
Key Accountabilities:
• Collaborate with team to develop, publish, implement, and ensure the effective use of quality assurance plans, standards, policies and procedures
• Execute and maintain functional and performance test scripts and conditions prepared by test staff to ensure documentation effectively supports development work
• Foster relationship with Project Management as well as external and internal agency development teams to provide testing services to confirm application stability and functionality prior to code deployment
• Direct effort to identify instances of non-compliance to QA policies, processes, and standards and escalate significant issues for resolution
• Responsible for final sign-off on all releases, ensuring QA has met standards which includes regrouping with site operations and development to ensure completion of tasks
• Report on common bug trends and improvements in process to ensure bugs are caught earlier in release cycle
Skills/Requirements
Preferred Experience & Technical Proficiencies:
• Ability to create and execute test scripts and test conditions for selected software development projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals - including executives, managers, subject matter experts, developers, and field personnel
• A solid understanding of current technological trends and accepted application development processes, specifically regarding mobile
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred
