About the Role
As Director of People Analytics, you will be responsible for building and leading this new function within the Stitch Fix People & Culture team. You are a visionary and get excited about using data to drive People & Culture strategies and decisions. You will help to solve complex organizational challenges through people-related metrics, analysis and diagnostics. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.
As the first ever role at Stitch Fix completely dedicated to people analytics, your role will be to partner with the People Operations + IT teams to build systems infrastructure required to collect and analyze people data, and work with the rest of the People & Culture team to offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and leaders.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Build a people + culture analytics platform at Stitch Fix, including, but not limited to:
◦ Predictive Analytics: employee predictive analytics (including scorecard design) used to inform company strategic direction and key business decisions
◦ Surveys: management + implementation of engagement surveys including: designing survey questions and reports, delivering executive presentations, creating action plans, and running driver/linkage analyses
◦ Leadership Development:Process owner for collect + reflect program
• We’re a small and dynamic team which requires this role to play at all levels
• Provide thought leadership on the complete cycle of talent analytics, from sourcing, retention, and development to organizational health and culture, exit information and alumni status
• Evaluate effectiveness of all aspects of People + Culture strategies (e.g., immersion, training/development, compensation, diversity + inclusion, performance, culture)
• Evaluate talent management strategies + approach: own all internal employee research + data (surveys, focus groups, etc)
• Partner with the People Leadership Team, Recruiting, L&D, Compensation, Operations, Benefits, and other functions to understand and deliver on their data needs: from standard reporting, workforce planning support, to organizational analysis and recommendations
• Partner closely with People Operations and IT to build the required system functionality to collect, analyze and present data
• Provide coaching and training on use and interpretation of metrics
We’re excited about you because…
• You have deep experience in business intelligence, data mining or OD work at a leadership level
• You have a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, I/O Psychology or related field. Ph.D. degree strongly preferred.
• You have demonstrable partnership and influencing skills
• You have exceptional analytical skills, mastery of business intelligence or related discipline
• You have experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments a plus
• You have an ability to work autonomously and lead large scale projects in fast paced matrix organizations
• You have excellent executive presentation skills: ability to distill and present actionable information from complex research
